Many government and nonprofit assistance programs offer food and some basic necessities; however, there is often a true and pressing need for clothing, household essentials, toiletry items and baby products that are not typically covered by these programs. That's where Trinity comes in ❤️ Providing such essential items, our own Eleanora's Closet helps bridge the gap for those who may be in need beyond what is otherwise available.
Eleanora's closet is open to the public during Trinity's food distribution period with New Hope Ministries' mobile food pantry. The next service date is July 29th from 12-2pm. Please keep in mind that there are location-based restrictions for the food pantry; however, there are no restrictions to qualify for assistance from Eleanora's Closet. We just ask that you help pay it forward when you're in a better position to do so.
Those in need are also invited to stop by the church on Sundays - one of our greeters will be happy to connect you with this mini-ministry. You might even meet our dear friend, Eleanora!
Want to help? Current needs include women's bar soap and deodorant, baby wipes, men's and women's body wash / shampoo / conditioner, men's and women's underwear (regular and extended sizes).
Contact outreach@trinitynewkingstown.org for more information on this mini-ministry and how you can get involved.
P.S. About the the 29th .. did we mention that we'll feed you while you're here, too? Here's a look at what Diane helped to serve up in May:
